Also in 2025, the RAM 2500 will mark its presence in the category of heavy-duty trucks available on the market. It is a vehicle that is highly anticipated, knowing that its predecessors have seduced many motorists. Here is an update on the characteristics of this new pickup truck.
What's new for 2025
The appearance and interior of the pickup truck have been redesigned to give the RAM 2500 an overall style similar to that of the RAM 1500.
The exterior changes are mainly related to the headlights and wheels, while those inside are mainly related to the infotainment system.
Model Features
The RAM 2500 lineup models are equipped with a 6.4L V8 engine with 405 horsepower and 429 lb-ft. The Limited and Limited Longhorn models are also available with a 6.7-liter I6 diesel engine, for 430 horsepower and 1075 lb-ft of torque.

Infotainment and driver assistance
The 2025 RAM trucks 2500 have an 8.4-inch, 12-inch or 14.4-inch infotainment touchscreen depending on the version. This equipment is wirelessly compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This pickup truck also has a 4, 6, 9 or 17-speaker sound system. The 9-speaker sound system is Alpine while the 17-speaker sound system is from Harman Kardon.
You will also find several driver assistance technologies such as a forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian identification, adaptive cruise control, a ParkView rearview camera and an electronic anti-skid system...
Exterior design
At the front, the vehicle is equipped with fog lamps, as well as headlights (single or reflector) or bifunctional headlamps, all LED. Its taillights are more LED or incandescent.
Its exterior mirrors are rather black and chrome, in addition to being heated and foldable manually or electrically depending on the trim. From the Big Horn version, these mirrors also incorporate additional turn signals and courtesy lamps.
Interior comfort
The seats of the RAM 2500 year 2025 are made of fabric, vinyl or leather reinforced. From the Rebel trim, the truck contains a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats. On RAM Limited and Limited Longhorn trucks, the rear seat is also heated.
